Only tagged minerals

Sadko works only with tagged minerals, with full responsibility according to OECD procedures and ITSCI traceability.

We work only with green mines, following all OECD protocols and traceability certificates are issued by the government, attesting the provenance of each drum. Our aim is to help miners to develop their society and contribute to a better economy and a better life, reinvesting part of our profits in the areas where we work, collaborating with education, sport and health actions.

OUR PRODUCTS

These are the main ready-to-sell products in long-term contracts

GREY SAND TANTALUM
Ta2O5 + Nb2O5 = 35%
The light grey sand tantalum comes from the North Kivu region. It has a purity of 30% tantalum and around 5% niobium. It is more abundant and has a somewhat cheaper price. It is exported from Goma.
BLACK TANTALUM
Ta2O5 + Nb2O5 = 50%
Black tantalum or rock tantalum originates mainly from the Maniema and South Kivu region. It is more difficult to extract than tantalum from Goma. It is a concentrate with a higher niobium content, ranging from 20-30%. It is exported from Bukavu.
OTHER MINERALS
Sn, SnO2, W
Among the many minerals that can be found in DR Congo, Sadko is working to be able to offer tin concentrate, cassiterite or wolfram.
We are also working to develop our own mining area by 2025.

SECURE TRANSPORT

Transporting the minerals from DR Congo to the port or airport of destination is a logistical challenge in order to meet Sadko Resources' high quality standards and contractually agreed deadlines.

From both Goma and Bukavu we can deliver by air or by ship. Deliveries by air are made using Goma International Airport or Naoribi Airport, while deliveries by ship are exported through the port of Mombasa.

We use 225-litre tight head metal drums, loaded with 450 kg. of ore concentrate to make up 20 tonnes per 20 foot container.

The drums are sealed and welded to prevent the cargo from being tampered with during transport.

Upon arrival at the port of destination, the buyer is responsible for opening the drums and homogenising the cargo for final testing.
